美国2005年度军费开支又创新高,达到4200多亿美元,其中有很大一部分是用来发展弹道导弹防御系统。提起弹道导弹防御系统,很多读者可能就会想到里根政府时期的“星球大战”计划,想到海湾战争中出尽风头的“爱国者”导弹。其实,美国的防空导弹有很多种,既包括高空、中空、低空,远程、中程、近程,还包括陆基和海基防空导弹。本文现对美国几种主要防空导弹作以简单介绍。
In 2005, the U.S. military spending hit another record high of over 420 billion U.S. dollars. Much of that was spent on developing ballistic missile defense systems. With the introduction of the ballistic missile defense system, many readers may well think of the “Star Wars” plan during the Reagan administration and think of the “Patriot” missiles that have been pre-eminent in the Gulf War. In fact, there are many kinds of U.S. air defense missiles, including high altitude, hollow, low altitude, long range, medium range and short range. Land-based and sea-based air defense missiles are also included. This article is a brief introduction of several major U.S. air defense missiles.
