Since more than a year ago, the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone was declared the first bonded zone in China. Since then, 13 bonded zones have been approved for construction in the coastal areas of China. The eight bonded zones have been officially approved for acceptance. Newspapers and magazines, radio and television, various materials, news, and reviews seem to have turned the bonded area into a familiar vocabulary. However, in the newly emerging free trade zones in China’s important coastal cities and inland ports, where can these English translations be interpreted as “free trade zone”? What are the original motives and connotations of their economic behavior? What kind of impact and impact has been and will be given to developing China?
