一在中等学校因地制宜地兴建一座植物园,是生物教学的需要,它在完成本学科的教学任务,对学生进行思想教育、知识教育以及发展智力、培养能力等方面都具有重要意义。我校植物园创建于1970年。当时在教师指导下,以13名学生组成的课外活动小组为核心,自力更生,围成一个小园地,收集栽培了一百余种常见的药用植物。建园后,教师又结合教学带领学生利用星期天和节假日跑遍了铜陵的山山水水,调查采集本地植物资源,并在园中广为栽培。第二年,园内栽培植物增加到二百多种,各种植物长势良好,青枝绿叶、百花吐艳,一派生机勃勃的景象,吸引了广大同学和校外群众,并引起了领导的重视。以后在领导支持
The construction of a botanical garden according to the local conditions in a secondary school is a need of biology teaching.
