醴陵县通过开展“创百所先进小学竞赛”活动,把全县小学教育办“活”了。最近,县委和县政府为开展“创百所先进小学竞赛”活动联合下达了文件。活动的竞赛条件是:比党政重视,看办学条件;比管理水平,看领导班子;比队伍建设,看师资水平;比办学思想,看全面提高教育质量,比勤工俭学,看劳动教育和劳动成果。同时提出了一些具体要求。每年检查验收一次,达到条件的,发给“先进小学”证书,并给予奖励。目前,全县670所小学,已有154所报名参加竞赛。竞赛活动把“党政重视”列为第一条,促进了各级领导支持教育,把群众办学搞“活”了。两年来,全县社队自筹资金260万元,兴修教室582间,住房799间,礼堂38间,建筑面积74000多平方米。竞赛条件涉及学校工作的各个方面,学校管理
