花生四烯酸在环氧合酶(COX)的作用下产生前列腺素,前列腺素是产生炎症反应的主要介质。而环氧合酶-2是分解花生四烯酸生成各种内源性前列腺素过程中重要的限速酶。大量研究表明许多中药可通过对环氧合酶-2的抑制来发挥抗炎作用。现就近年在细胞水平及不同疾病中中药对环氧合酶-2作用的相关研究进行综述。
Arachidonic acid produces prostaglandins under the action of cyclooxygenase (COX), a major mediator of inflammation. Cyclooxygenase-2 is an important rate-limiting enzyme in the decomposition of arachidonic acid into various endogenous prostaglandins. Numerous studies show that many traditional Chinese medicines exert anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-2. Now in recent years at the cellular level and different diseases in the role of Chinese medicine cyclooxygenase-2 research are reviewed.
