开远市共有轻工集体企业23个,职工1800多人,其中合同工、临时工450多人,退休职工406人。轻工企业大多是50年代中期由个体联合组织起来的集体企业,多年来,这些企业设备、技术落后,厂房破旧,规模小,微利经营,有的亏损、负债。十一届三中全会以来,开远市轻工企业不断深化改革,转换经营机制,走向市场,开展横向经济联合,不少企业得以迅速发展,一些企业起死回生。特别是邓小平同志南巡讲话以来,轻工企业的领导进一步解放思想,抓住机遇,扩大外引内联,推动了企业发展。1993年,整个轻工系统上了一个台阶,经济效益
Kaiyuan City has altogether 23 light industrial collective enterprises with more than 1,800 employees, including more than 450 contract workers and temporary workers, and 406 retired employees. Most of the light industry enterprises are collective enterprises organized by individuals in the mid-1950s. Over the years, these enterprises have lagging behind in equipment and technology, old factories, small scale, low-profit operations, and some losses and liabilities. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the light industry enterprises in Kaiyuan City have continuously deepened reforms, transformed their operating mechanisms, and moved toward the market. They have developed horizontal economic alliances, and many companies have been able to develop rapidly, and some companies have come back to life. In particular, since Comrade Deng Xiaoping made a speech at the southern tour, the leaders of the light industry enterprises have further emancipated their minds, seized the opportunity, expanded the inward inward links, and promoted the development of the enterprise.
