家用电脑和办公室中用的电脑从本质上说没有区别,它们的软硬件构成及操作使用都是相同的。之所以冠以“家用电脑”.是因为它在应用方面更适合家庭。目前,在我国现有的家用电脑中,约60%主要用于家教,另外较多的是充当文字处理的高手。那么将来,电脑会迅速进入普通家庭吗?会有哪些功能呢?国内外的软硬件技术蓬勃发展,带动了电脑应用日新月异。家用电脑的网络化和集成化是今后发展的必然趋势。电脑联网的目的是实现资源共享。电脑集成是指将电脑与传真、电话、录音、摄像等家用电器合为一体。坐在家里,就可以查询图书馆里的图书资料,可以获知当日新闻、股市行情、天气变化、民航班机的航班航线以及各种你所需的信息;可以和世界各地的朋友以文字和声音交换信息,互通有无;可以自动控制家电如洗衣机、洗碗机、冰箱、电灯等。
