素质教育以全面提高全体学生的基本素质为根本目的,以尊重学生主体性和主动精神,注重开发人的智慧潜能,注重形成人的健全个性为根本特征。传统教育侧重的是传授学生知识,而素质教育则更注重知识背后的智能。我们在探索实施小组合作学习,深化课堂教学改革的过程中,也更加深刻地体会到,课堂应该是实施素质教育的第一场所,而小组合作学习又是在课堂上促进学生素质全面发

Traditional education focuses on imparting student knowledge, while quality education focuses more on the intelligence behind knowledge.
