德育,指学校对学生进行的思想政治品德教育,是学校教育的基本内容之一,是社会主义精神文明建设的重要组成部分。德育对青少年心灵的塑造,对安定社会树立社会新风尚,对防止社会公德的堕落和败坏,起着巨大的推动作用。德育的目标就是培养学生做人的能力,使他们在思想上、政治上健康成长,形成高尚的思想品德,建立正确的是非观、荣辱观、人生观,进而保证学生全面发展。
