In September 1982, the FD-type (8063.22kW) air-cooled electric roller technical appraisal meeting chaired by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of Zhejiang Province was held in Nanxun Town, Huzhou City, where the Wuxing Electric Drum Plant was located.
