化学通报从前年二月号起,开辟了“中学化学教学”专题的讨论,逐期地发表了不少的文章,我认为这对教学是会有很大的助益的,但是,化学通报却忽视了对刚参加工作的和已有一些工作经历的中级化学工作者(指练习生和助理技术员)学习上的辅导,我觉得这是一个缺陷。解放几年来,随着我们伟大的祖国的建设需要,有不少的高中和初中毕业生踏上了建设祖国的岗位上。他们分别投入在工业、农业、国营商业、交通运输业等生产劳动中来。其中就有不少的学生成了化学工作者,从事于有机合成、药物制造、化工原料、矿石分析、物相鉴定等方面的工作。他们的水平虽不算高,甚至拿他们的文化程度来衡量他们现在所担任的工作是不称职的。但是,他们的工作还是完成的很好的,只不过在完成的过程中是有些茫然罢了——即所谓只知其然而不知其所以然。为了满足我国社会主义建设的需要,利用他们的业余时间积极地提高他们的理论水平,使他们成为善于劳动的人,能很快地掌握最新的技术的化学工作者,使他们成为我国高级技术人员的有力的后备军,这是
