前言:你的世界是中国的,还是西方的?1998年,北九州CCA,艺术家陈箴在回答朱显的提问时,回答说:中间地带。中间地带,一个很巧妙的回答。在东方艺术家纷纷出走西方的年代,他们的作品中的西方意识与东方根基融合并存,有矛盾,有对立,但是也有共通性,这就是陈箴提出的“融超经验”论。借由此理论,在十几年(从陈箴)后的今天,“融超经验”再次被提及时,我们竟然看到的是这样的现象:众多欧洲美洲的艺术家纷纷来到中国,来到东方,展览展出他们的作品。这似乎是一个悖论,不过不容置疑。
