With the extension of people’s life expectancy, the replacement of part of the human organ has become a new field of medical profession. Most infants born in 1900 died in the late 1950s; the life expectancy of the British population now exceeds 80 years after 100 years and the number of older persons over the age of 65 by 2030 is expected to double. This trend has dramatically changed the age composition of the population and posed a series of new challenges to engineers. One of the most important challenges is to make people have a higher quality of life in old age.
