宁波市卫生防疫站始建于1953年3月。四十余年来,宁波市站认真贯彻“预防为主”的方针,围绕疾病控制、卫生监督监测、健康教育和科研培训四大任务竭力为全市人民健康服务,如今已成为全市卫生防病技术指导中心。尤其80年代推行站长负责制以来,面向基层,实行科学管理和科教兴站,全站职工团结一心,深化改革,开拓奋进,各项工作均取得了显著的成绩。近五年中,获得部、省、市级先进称号共达39项。近年来,把争创国家计划单列市一等卫生防疫站作为头等大事来抓,并列入站“九.五”发展规划,为全面提高站的综合防病能力和科学管理水平,狠抓精神文明建设、开展“凝聚力”工程建设,强化职业道德教育,加强质控管理,努力使各项业务工作开展紧扣《规范》要求和与《评审标准》要求衔接。高八层、建筑面积3700平方米新办公大楼已投入使用,新添置了气相色谱仪、原子吸收分光光度计、紫外分光光度计、荧光分光光度计等仪器,装修了部分实验室、仪器室、多功能厅、健康教育节目制作室、演播厅、
