城市的出现,是人类文明的一个重要标志。城市不是一个孤立的社会个体,它的产生依赖于乡村人口获得了剩余的产品,他们有愿望和能力发展城市,并进一步的支持和保护它。以前的城市规划和发展部门很少会想到有计划的创作更多更新的艺术和雕塑作品。随着社会的进步,每个城市都会意识到彼此的存在,他们需要通过城市当中具有标志性的东西来相互区分。出于对城市需要开放与防御的考虑,人们把注意力越来越多的放在表现城市文化特点的个性化风格上。
The emergence of cities is an important symbol of human civilization. The city is not an isolated social entity, it relies on the rural population to acquire the surplus products, their desire and ability to develop the city, and to further support and protect it. In the past, the Urban Planning and Development Department seldom thought of systematically creating more up-to-date art and sculpture. As society progresses, each city realizes each other’s existence, and they need to differentiate each other through the iconic things in the city. Due to the need of opening up and defending the city, people pay more and more attention to the individualized style that shows the characteristics of urban culture.
