为使船舶驾驶人员对东北太平洋海域热带风暴或飓风的活动规律有所了解 ,利用 1 980～ 1 997年的资料对该海域的热带气旋进行了综合统计分析 .给出了热带气旋天气气候特征和移动规律 ,为该海域航行的船舶提供了有用的资料 ,以期达到预防和避离飓风的目的 .
