The “General High School Development Model and Comprehensive Curriculum Design and Implementation Research” project, chaired by Jin Xuefang, former deputy director of the Department of Basic Education at the Ministry of Education, will be held in Haikou from March 30 to April 1. The meeting was held under the guidance of the Ministry of Education’s “Notice on Advancing the Experimental Work of New Curricula in General Senior High Schools in 2006”. The experimental work of ordinary high school new courses will be expanded to Fujian, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Anhui and Tianjin provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government) after Guangdong, Shandong, Hainan, Ningxia and Jiangsu.
