Currently, the international engineering contracting market has developed rapidly. According to the prediction by Standard & Poor’s, the global construction market will maintain an average annual growth rate of 5.1% in the next few years. The world construction market output is expected to reach 6.2 trillion U.S. dollars by 2013. As the degree of internationalization of the construction industry continues to increase, the proportion of international engineering contracting will continue to expand. By 2010, the world will have an annual contracting amount of 2000 to 300 billion U.S. dollars in international projects.
