乙型肝炎疫苗(简称乙肝疫苗)于1981年11月批准使用,该疫苗的问世对于控制乙肝病毒感染是一项重大突破。乙肝疫苗是利用健康 HBsAg携带者血清为原料超速离心纯化后,用尿素、胃蛋白酶和甲醛3次加工灭活,加氢氧化铝为佐剂制成,分装为每剂含 HBsAg 蛋白10μg/ml 及20μg/ml 两种。1000ml 血清大约能加工制成200剂乙肝疫苗,使疫苗的生产最受到限制。因此,在基因工程技术生产乙肝疫苗推广应用之前,合理使用血源性乙肝疫苗十分重要。
