珠江三角洲沙围田(水稻土)蔗区甘蔗合理配施氮、磷、钾肥料的效果,广东省第一轻工业厅于1980年底在番禺县东冲公社主持召开的现场技术鉴定会议已作充分肯定。为使这一科研成果尽快转变成生产力,1981年轻工业部甘蔗糖业科学研究所在鉴定的基础上,分别在番禺县、斗门县和广州郊区等县(市)进行了较大面积的生产性对比示范。结果表明,除在围垦时间不长、种植时间较短的低沙田蔗区配施磷、钾肥的效果不大明显外,均一致地表现了显著的增产效果,一般亩增产蔗茎1吨左右,与试验、鉴定阶段的结果相乎合,进一步佐证了配施
