顺德县从1977年开始进行春花生套种夏植蔗(简称春花夏植)的试验,在1980年4个点5块试验地共5,13亩获得平均亩产花生350.5～407.斤(折油106～127斤)、亩产甘蔗17,018～18,174斤(折白砂糖1.11～1.22吨),亩产值达766.3～779.3元。同时每亩收鲜花生藤1,500斤、花生麸120～150斤。据报道,每产干花生100斤,其植株的根瘤可固定氮5市斤计,那么亩产花生350.5～407.斤,
