十年前读鲁迅先生的《朝花夕拾》,书中谈到古时曾刻有《二十四孝》、《女二十四孝》、《百孝图》、《二百孝图》等种种的孝书。向来也曾在古旧书摊留心搜求,久而未得,无以一睹孝子孝女们的孝行和风采。近日偶逛书市,意外地买到了新版的《百孝图》。这原是清人张之洞编定的孝书范本,一文一图,文后还特意加上了今人的语体译文。在改革开放的90年代,出版社重印这种旨在宣扬封建孝道的图书,恐怕是针对古代孝道之失传,因而有志于“批判继承”,使之服务于社会主义精神文明建设的罢。这事却引发了我对这一问题的兴趣,居然
