随着我国社会经济和交通运输事业的快速发展,过去年代修建于各地城镇和各级公路上的桥梁,负担着十分沉重的交通荷载及繁重的交通量。近20年来桥梁抗风、抗震领域的研究成果以及新材料新工艺的开发推动了大距度桥梁的发展;同时,随着人们对大型重要桥梁安全性、耐久性与正常使用功能的日渐关注,桥梁健康监测的研究与监测系统的开发应运而生。结合近十年来桥梁健康监测的研究状况以及大跨度桥梁工程的研究与发展,较系统地阐述桥梁健康监测的内涵。
