在某些书店里,特别是在一些书摊上,我们可以发现陈列着样数相当多的新出版的传统戏曲剧本。这些剧本,如果逐一翻阅一下,可以看到:有的是用相当认真、严肃的态度来编印出版的;如中国戏剧家协会编辑、人民文学出版社出版的“戏曲剧本选集”,及中国戏曲研究院编辑、新文艺出版社出版的“京剧丛刊”等。但也有不少是用一种很草率,很不严肃的态度滥编滥印,胡乱出版的。这种混乱现象,我认为应该加以纠正。在今天编印近年来戏曲舞台上经常上演的传统剧本,就应该而且必须以目前流行的优秀的经过整理的舞台本为准。这样才能正确地反映今天的戏曲舞台面貌。然而有些编辑者和出版社却无视我们今天对于戏曲的改革;忽视了应该出版以正确的方法整理出来的传统剧本。
