歌唱家帕瓦罗蒂在北京开告别演唱会时,曾笑称今后即便是在洗澡的时候也不会再唱歌了。当时,笔者对这位歌唱家的淡出颇有些不舍。不久,媒体上却传来消息,说帕瓦罗蒂因患胰腺癌在纽约接受了手术,而在手术前,他还一直在世界各地巡演,如果不是住院,他也会继续在全球举办告别巡演。这就是说,老帕的告别演出是要在全世界各地举行的,如果不生重病的话,全球巡演一遍少说也得两三年。
