第六届上海电视节于1996年11月10日上午10:00在上海展览中心广场隆重开幕,来自世界37个国家和地区的1800多位嘉宾云集在这里,中共中央政治局委员、中共上海市委书记黄菊、中国广播电影电视部部长孙家正、副部长刘习良、中共上海市委副书记陈至立、中共上海市委副书记、常务副市长陈良宇、上海市人大常委会主任叶公琦、上海市政协主席陈铁迪等有关领导出席了开幕式。陈良宇、刘习良先后致开幕词和贺词。在嘹亮的号角声中,本届电视节组委会主席、上海市副市长龚学平宣布第六届上海电视节开幕。与以往历届上海电视节不同,本届开幕式充分调动了电视手段,一改以往文艺晚会的形式,在隆重热烈、庄严俭朴的气氛中,突出了象征“和平、友好、合作、
The 6th Shanghai Television Festival was grandly opened at the Shanghai Exhibition Center Plaza on November 10, 1996 at 10:00 am. More than 1,800 guests from 37 countries and regions gathered here. Members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee Secretary Huang Ju, Minister of Radio, Film and Television Sun Jiazheng, Vice Minister Liu Xiuliang, CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Deputy Secretary Chen Zhili, CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Deputy Mayor Chen Liangyu, Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress Chairman Ye Gongqi, Shanghai CPPCC Chairman Chen Tiedi and other relevant leaders Attended the opening ceremony.
