一九八五年植树节过后,喀喇喀什河畔掀起了一阵植树造林的热浪,墨玉县二十八万各族人民南自昆仑山麓北到大漠深处,展开了营造农田林网的战斗,平均每天出动劳力七万多人,各种车辆三万多辆。仅半个月的时间,植树1300多万株。经过上级部门验收,全县提前实现农田林网化,向自治区成立三十周年献了一份厚礼。
After the Arbor Day in 1985, a heat wave of tree planting and afforestation was set off on the banks of the Kalakash River. From the north of the Kunlun Mountains to the depths of the desert, 280,000 people of all ethnic groups in Moyu County started the battle to create a farmland- An average of more than 70,000 workers are dispatched daily, and over 30,000 vehicles of various kinds are used. Only half a month, more than 13 million trees planted. After inspection and acceptance by the higher authorities, the entire county implemented farmland network in advance and presented a gift to the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of the autonomous region.
