Qingping Township, Mianzhu City is located in the anterior mountain range of the Longmenshan Mountains in the northwestern part of the city. It is the birthplace of Mianyuan River, a first-tier tributary of the Tuojiang River Basin. It covers an area of 302 square kilometers and has a forest coverage rate of over 85%.
