汉代造型艺术中的动物题材相当丰富,“熊”是其中之一。面对纷繁的各种动物的表现,恐怕很少有人去注意“熊”题材的某种独特意义和文化内涵。也许我们晓得汉代艺术中有那么几件关于“熊”的作品,而殊不知这些作品丰富的程度和深厚的含义之所在。出于兴趣,我最近开始关注这一题材在汉代艺术中的意义,在短短的数天内,我就收集到了大量有关“汉熊”的资料,雕塑、工艺作品达40多件,画像石、画像砖达60余块。(参见附表)这些仅仅是我收集到的有限资料而已,仅这些资料就足够给我们提出许多可供想象和思考的问题:汉代艺术为什么要如此热衷地表现这一题材,它是否有一
The animal themes in the art of Han Dynasty are quite rich, “Bear” is one of them. In the face of numerous animal performance, I am afraid few people pay attention to the unique meaning and cultural connotation of the bear theme. Perhaps we know that there are so few works about the “bear” in Han Dynasty art, but we do not know the richness and deep meaning of these works. Out of interest, I recently started to pay attention to the significance of this subject in Han Dynasty art. In just a few days, I collected a great deal of information about the “Han Xiong”.
