As we all know, it is difficult for farmers in our country to see a doctor. Since the founding of new China, the government health department of our country has tried its best to overcome the backwardness of lack of medicine in rural areas. In the 1970s, Zeng Xing had a history of nurturing barefoot doctors. The so-called “barefoot ” doctor, not a doctor really does not wear shoes, but refers to natives of rural doctors, they rooted in their hometown, usually both barefoot Tianmiao transplanting, there are some medical skills for the villagers to treat small problems, To some extent, it alleviated farmers’ problems of seeing a doctor. This photo was taken in rural areas of Beijing in 1974 just for the record moment in the history of rural medical reform. Today, it may be a reference for the study of rural conditions in China. At present, with the establishment of the system of commodity economy and the impact of the modernization wave, the barefoot doctor has died of this new birth. However, it goes without saying that medical care in rural areas is still not yet solved properly. We are still continuing to explore reforms. Therefore, it is still worth our follow-up that our peasants should seek medical treatment.
