石工李玉霞同志在浦口下关第二期沉排护岸工程中,创造了工砌块石护坡每工日(工作8小时)16.2平方公尺(30公分厚折合4.85立方公尺)的最高记录,超出1955年水利工程干砌块石护坡的施工定额152%,大大的推动了工程的进展,被评选为出席1956年全国先进生产者代表会议代表。李玉霞同志的砌石方法主要是: (一)敲石用锤不用凿。对准所要凿去的部份用小铁锤(大小二把,一重12磅,一重4磅)加以锤击,很快就将石料凿好;
