扎哈里亚·斯坦库是罗马尼亚当代著名散文家,1974年12月5日逝世,终年72岁。他一生写了11部长篇小说,发表了几千篇政论性文章,还出版过不少诗集。截至1972年为止,他的长篇小说《赤足》在国内重版12次,其它长篇和中短篇小说也多次再版。他的主要作品已被翻译成32种外国文字,行销五大洲35个国家,深受读者的喜爱。中国读者对扎哈里亚·斯坦库这个名字亦并不陌生。他的两部长篇小说《赤足》和《猎狗》早在50年代就被介绍到中国。
Zacharias Stancu is a Romanian contemporary famous essayist, died December 5, 1974, at the age of 72. He wrote 11 novels in his life, published thousands of political articles, and published many poems. As of 1972, his novel Barefoot was reprinted 12 times in the country, while other long and short stories have been republished several times. His main works have been translated into 32 kinds of foreign languages, marketing 35 countries on five continents, loved by the readers. Chinese readers are no stranger to the name Zacharias Stancu. His two short stories Barefoot and Hound were introduced to China back in the 1950s.
