《西文文献著录条例》的出版必将促进图书情报工作的自动化、网络化,促进图书情报的资源共享。同时,也必将加快我国图书统一编目和在版编目工作的步伐。为了适应新形势,我馆从1986年9月开始使用《西文文献著录条例》。吸取了1976年改用《中国图书分类法》时全部改编造成混乱的教训,决定新旧目录并存。新编目录主要款目与旧目录不符时,为了方便读者检索,以旧目录的标目项作一附加标目款目。我们觉得用这样的方法衔接新旧目录比采用规范档、参见、说明来得方便。
Publication of Cataloging Articles in Western Literature is bound to promote the automation and network of library and information work and promote the sharing of library and information resources. At the same time, it will also speed up the pace of unified cataloging and cataloging in our country. In order to adapt to the new situation, our library began to use the “Western Literature Cataloging Ordinance” from September 1986. Draw lessons from the chaos that all adapted when using the “China Book Taxonomy” in 1976 and decided to coexist the old and the new catalogs. New catalog main section does not match the old catalog, in order to facilitate the reader to search, the old catalog to make an additional heading headings. We think it is more convenient to use this method to connect old and new catalogs than to use standard files.
