炎性纤维性组织细胞瘤是恶性纤维性组织细胞瘤一种类型。作者报道一例49岁的女性患者四处病变的活检,做了光镜和超微结构观察。光镜:瘤组织含丰富的毛细血管,嗜中性粒细胞散在或成堆的浸润,见间变的组织细胞和多核细胞,后者有丰富的嗜硷性胞浆,核仁明显,核仁嗜硷性。有类似Sternberg—R-eed氏细胞的组织细胞。核分裂多见。组织内无纤维母细胞,无席纹状结构。电镜:组织细胞三种类型①
