After my retirement, as a professional manager, I was hired as a general manager or chief engineer by several companies in Hong Kong and was stationed in Shanghai, Wuhan, Micronesia, Dongguan, and Shenzhen, responsible for project planning, design, or construction. In 1996, just completed a project invested by Hong Kong in Shanghai, a Hong Kong company (replaced by a consulting company below) hired me to take charge of the civil engineering works of the Dongguan China Resources Cement Plant. Dongguan Huarun Cement Factory is invested by a joint venture between China, Hong Kong and Japan. It is located on the east bank of the Pearl River in Dongguan, Guangdong. Due to the increasing scale of construction in Guangdong and Hong Kong, there is no high-quality cement for the neighboring areas.
