一九月份的话剧舞台,将出现许多台引人注目的新戏,如陈白尘编剧的《阿Q正传》,梅阡编剧的《咸亨酒店》等等。鲁迅写小说的原意,是揭露“上流社会的堕落和下层社会的不幸”,“揭出病苦,引起疗救的注意”,表达了他对“国民性改造”这一问题独到而深刻的见解。他的作品至今仍有现实教育意义,能使我们深刻了解新民主主义革命阶段在我国的必要性,以及我国反封建这一历史任务的艰巨性。把鲁迅的小说改成话剧,是桩很有意义的事情,然而也是难度很大的事情。
In the drama stage of September, there will be many compelling new plays such as The True Story of Ah Q by Chen Baichen, The Xianheng Hotel by Mei Qian and others. The original intention of Lu Xun’s writing novels is to expose “the fall of the high society and the misfortune of the lower classes” and “expose the suffering and cause the attention of the treatment and rescue” and express his unique and profound opinion on the issue of “national transformation”. His works still have realistic educational significance so far, enabling us to deeply understand the necessity of the new-democratic revolution in our country and the arduousness of our historical task of anti-feudalism. Changing Lu Xun’s novel into drama is a very meaningful thing, but it is also a very difficult task.
