　　Rice is not only the major consumed staple food for a large portion of human population,but also an important model plant for biological studies.With the rapid development of high-throughput sequencing technology,the availability of more and more whole genome sequences from Oryza as well as other related plants provides an unprecedented opportunity for in-depth characterization of plant comparative genomics and evolutionary biology.Here we present Plant Homolog Database(PHD),a database composed of homologous genes across diverse plant species.
