Objective:To investigate whether deep hypothermic circulatory arrest with intermittent cerebral perfusion is securely feasible to patients undergoing second or multiple order heart valve replacement during which complic accretio pericardii compacting tight or magnum atria sinistrum and right atria can cause cardiac rupture.Methods:From 2000 to 2006,a total of 13 adult patients underwent second or multiple order heart valve replacement with average age 56.7±12y (20 ~ 73y).
