Objective:To summarize the strategy of extracorporeal circulation (ECC) for operation on aorta.Methods:From March 1988 to June 2007,a total of 115 patients with aortic affection were surgical treated.Ascending aneurysm 69 cases,with cannulation on aortic or femoral artery,and high-dose potassium oxygenated blood cardioplegia,ECC adopted moderate hypothermia.22 cases of descending aneurysm,aortic coarctation and thoracic-abdominal aneurysm,with left heart bypass or femoral artery and venous cannulation,1 cases of interruption of aortic arch with deep hypothermic circulation arrest.
