Objective: To discuss the efficiency and safety in the use of CR oxycodone in the titration of chronic moderate to severe cancer pain in opioid naive patients.Methods: Sixty cases of opioid tolerance in chronic moderateto severe cancer pain in opioid naive patients were analyzed from March to June 2012.The patients were randomly divided into two groups, namely, study group and control group.CR oxycodone and morphine hydrochloride tablets were separately administered to the two groups for dose titration.Pain control rate, completion time of dose titration, frequency of administration, pain occurrence, and adverse effects occurred during the titration process.
