Objective: To investigate the expression and significance of ZNF139, MRP-1, MDR1/P-gp, and GST-π in human gastric carcinoma cell lines SGC7901 and SGC7901/ADR.Methods: Expression of ZNF139, MRP-1, MDR1/P-gp, and GST-π was determined by RT-PCR and western blot analysis in SGC7901 and SGC7901/ADR cell lines.Results: The expression levels of ZNF139, MRP-1, MDR1/P-gp,and GST-π were higher in SGC7901/ADR than in SGC7901(P<0.05).In SGC7901, a positive correlation was found between ZNF139 and MRP-1, ZNF139 and P-gp, ZNF139 and GST-π, as well as MRP-1 and P-gp protein (P was found between ZNF139and MRP-1, ZNF 139 and P-gp, as well as MRP-1 and P-gp protein.Conclusion: ZNF139 may influence the multidrug resistance of gastric cancer by regulating MRP-1 and MDR1/P-gp.
