　　More than 40 types of General Circulation Models (GCM) were developed over the world.However, simulation skills of different GCMs over the same region vary significantly due to the differences of modeling mechanism, initial conditions, resolution and parameters across the climatic models.In this study, the simulation performance of 23 GCMs recommended in IPCC AR4 reports was quantified and compared in both Yangtze River Basin and Songhua River Basin.
