The short neuropeptide F (sNPF) is a neuropeptide in the brain of Drosophila melanogaster, which is expressed in a large population of diverse neurons of brain.Most of these neurons are intrinsic interneurons of the mushroom bodies, which are the most prominent bilateral neuropil structures in the central brain of insects that regulate memory and sleep.
