　　Mariannaea tiantangzhaiana, a new species of Mariannaea, collected from Jinzhai County in western Anhui Province is described.Most species in the genus are known only in their anamorphic stages.The teleomorph and anamorph connection of the new species is established.Its verticillate conidiophores, phialidic conidiogenous ceils and imbricate chains of aseptate conidia indicate its position in Mariannaea.The fungus is characterized by producing imbricate chains of rod-shaped macroconidia.
