　　Flow chemistry in structured microfluidic reactors is providing promising synthetic methodologies and has attracted broad interest at all stages of the design of biocatalytic processes.Its great potential has been extended in various directions and includes the acceleration of biocatalytic development,to find novel routes for process intensification and improved process econo-mics.Advantages of this approach encompass reduced use of resources and easier compartmentalization of multi-step enzyme-catalyzed reactions.
