Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging infectious disease in China,and was identified to be caused by a novel bunyavirus.SFTS is considered a tick-transmitted disease and usually occurs as sporadic cases.The transmission model between human is unclear.Here we present a cluster of SFTS cases provided evidence of person-to-person transmission through the mucosal after secretion and vomitus contact to the index patient.
