TMZ(temozolomide)treatment,as first-line chemotherapy in GBM(glioblastma),faced with drug resistance.Recent studies emphasize that TMZ resistance is associated with autophagy,but the mechanism remained particularly unclear.ULK1,as a serine-threonine protein kinase,is the upper-most protein of ULK1 complex and is emerging as a crucial node in autophagy induction.However,the regulation of ULK1 is not fully understood.TOPK(T-LAK cell-originated protein kinase)is a member of MAPKK protein family,which is highly expressed in many malignant tumors and can be used as a molecular marker for the diagnosis and prognosis of glioma.
