　　The low-grade magnesite and ammonium sulfate were used as raw materials to extract Mg[1].The flow chart is given in Fig.1.This flow is a closed-circuit and green technological process.The reaction mechanism of light-burned magnesia powder and ammonium sulfate are MgO+3(NH4)2SO4 230℃~330℃→(NH4)2Mg2(SO4)3 +4NH3 ↑ +2H2O ↑ (1)MgO+(NH4)2Mg2(SO4)3340℃~410℃→3MgSO4+2NH3 ↑+H2O↑ (2)(NH4)2Mg2(SO4)3420℃~455℃→2MgSO4+2NH3↑+SO3↑+H2O↑ (3).
