1.Experiment Aim Endocrine therapy resistance is a major clinical challenge in the treatment of breast cancer, which develops in two thirds of patients (Jordan & OMalley, 2007).The molecular mechanisms by which ER-positive breast cancer cells develop resistance to endocrine therapy are still poorly defined at present.Recent study has implicatedthat the CXCR4-SDF-1 axis is associated with development of an oestrogen independent phenotype.
