Cause Analysis of Perioperative Death After Valve Replacement

　　Objective Summarize the causes of perioperative death cases after valve replacement, and try to find measure of decreasing perioperative mortality.Methods 54 death cases(total 854 valve replacement cases) after valve replacement from January 2004 to January 2009 were retrospeetively reviewed.heart valve replacement procedures were performed in general anesthesia and low temperature and cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).Including 17 cases off-pump surgery.Results rate of death at 6.39%(54/845).Can not be separated from extracorporeal circulation machine and bleeding from heart intraoperative and low cardiac output syndrome*respiratory failure, renal failure and severe arrhythmia after operaion are the main cause of death.Conclusion the key factors to improve the successful rate of the procedure are selecting the appropriate timing of operation,correcting preoperative heart function,perfect surgical technique,consummating myocardial preservation and paying attention to the nursing in postoperative.
